This may get trashed in the transfer, but the original image has over a dozen galaxies. M87 is the large elliptical just right of center. North is up. Four 30 s frames stacked using Iris. If you click on the image you get a slightly larger less blocky looking version of the photo. The original image showed the galaxies in the Markarian chain about half way up on the right near M86. M86 is just on the right edge of this frame and nearly cut out.

Jupiter - April 23, 2005. I seem to reaching limits of resolution here below what I'd expect from the telescope, but the seeing has been poor and focusing has been difficult. The collimation of the telescope seems ok. These were taken with a Criterion barlow from the 70's I happened to have in the junk box, so I may try a better barlow.
