Well, focus is still an issue. I had to move the telescope and had to refocus quickly before Jupiter went behind the trees.

First image from the 10" with a new barlow, an Orion shorty 3-element 2X. The seeing was very poor, but the increased level of detail is encouraging. 

This is Proclus on the edge of Mare Crisium. Taken May 19, 2005. 

Sinus Iridum and Herschel. This is the north up view and seems wrong when I spent so much time with a Newtonian seeing this with south up. Taken May 19, 2005

This is a reprocessed version of the photo taken with the Synta refractor on May 12 at the OVAL meeting at ULM. I figured out how to get the processing region to cover the entire photo. For whatever reason that is not the default in Registax. Go figure...

Janssen is the large distressed formation with the rille network on the floor. Vallis Rheita is prominent here.
