This is a shot from the old observatory location near Grambling with a 105mm Nikkor on the D100 piggy backed. It is a stack of 3 30 second images. I could have been more careful about the shutter, there is a bit of double imaging on two of the files from firing the shutter and there are some streak that the flat didn't remove. Still, nice to get an image.... Processed with IRIS.
The astronomy club was out this night to watch the Orionids.
